MCJROTC update

What a great day the MCJROTC Physical fitness and Marksmanship team had Thursday, March 6, 2025 in New York City.  This is an experience that all of these Cadets will cherish forever.  Thank you all for the support.  The cadets experienced riding the Staten Island Ferry, understanding the importance of the 9/11 memorial, experience the New York City subway, got the opportunity to walk around Times Square and also got the opportunity to go to the 86th floor of the Empire State Building to enjoy the views, sights and sounds of New York City.  This morning our Marksmanship team is competing while all other Cadets are doing homework in the Navy Lodge Hotel.  Later today we are taking the Cadets to Central Park and then heading to the American Dream Mall in New Jersey. Tomorrow morning the Physical Fitness teams compete and then we head home.  More pictures and updates to follow.

Saturday, 8 March 2025 your Marine Corps JROTC Physical fitness teams competed against 17 of the best physical fitness teams in the country at Halsey High School in New Jersey and represented Haverhill High School and Massachusetts with pride.  The Male and Female teams earned 3rd Place with Cadets Cid, Monteiro, Fonseca and Ortiz all finishing in the Top 18 for the boys team out of 102 competitors and Cadets Diaz, Almeida and Ramirez finishing in the top 18 for the girls team out of 102 competitors. All of these Cadets have truly been putting in the early morning trainings and they proved it this weekend.  Thank you all for the continued support of our program.

CTE Updates

Haverhill High School Seniors in the CTE Engineering/Manufacturing program were fortunate to visit Straumann in Andover.  Straumann conducts research and develops and manufactures dental implants.  Students were able to see the process from manufacture through quality assurance and packaging.  Innovative approaches to automation were especially interesting to students.  Thank you Straumann for your continued support of our CTE program!
