Congratulations Seniors! Please take a look at our selection below! All online orders will be available for pickup on site the day of the graduation. To retrieve your order, please stop by our booth located conveniently at the entrance to the graduation before the ceremony begins.

On Monday, June 2nd, there will be a meeting after school in room K31 for ALL girls who wish to join the swim and dive team this upcoming fall season.

There will be an informational meeting for any students interested in cross country this fall on Tuesday, June 3 in room 221. All returning and new students are welcome to attend and if you cannot make the meeting please check in with Mr. Maguire in room 221 before the end of the school year.

Are you interested in rowing, or learning how to row? Join the HHS Crew TEAM!! There will be a brief meeting on Tuesday June 3 after school in F11.  We will discuss plans for summer training and goals for the fall season.  All new and returning rowers should plan to attend.  No prior experience necessary!  The more, the merrier!

There will be a meeting for ALL STUDENTS INTERESTED IN PLAYING FOOTBALL on Tuesday June 3rd after school in the auditorium. The meeting will provide information on sign-ups, summer schedules, and expectations. Anyone interested in playing football should attend the meeting on Tuesday from 2:15-2:45 in the Auditorium

Girls soccer sign ups will be Wednesday, June 4th at 2:30 in the pool building lobby. All new and returning players are required to attend and sign up!

On April 17th, HHS Career Technical Education Engineering/Manufacturing Juniors participated in the Annual Mock Interview event. Students practiced their interviewing skills and received valuable feedback.  This will help them be successful as they prepare for college and future internship/employment opportunities. Special thanks to our business partners – we could not do this day without them!

CTE Healthcare Occupations Juniors visited Parkland Medical Center in Derry NH.  Students learned about the techniques used to sterilize surgical equipment.  This was a new requirement added to the Frameworks and Parkland didn’t hesitate to help us provide this opportunity to our students!  We appreciate this partnership that has provided our CTE students with guest speakers, business tours and internship opportunities.  Special thanks to Terilyn Hudson, Lynn Crispo, Hope and Danielle!

On April 14th CTE Information Technology Juniors learned about the security sector from Axis Communications field sales engineer Ashley Quist and Cross Camera Controls Managing Director Thomas Lienhard.  Students got an inside peek into the world of video surveillance and the analytics that can be used to increase safety and operational efficiency.  What a great career possibility for these students!

CTE Healthcare Occupations Freshmen and Sophomores learned about Bethany Communities during a guest speaker event on April 8th.  Students heard from four staff members who shared information about their role and job responsibilities.  Bethany Communities also shared information about summer job and internship opportunities.  Special thanks to Beth Grady, Director of Community Engagement; Lauren Dumont, HR Coordinator; Tom Houlihan, Resident Service Coordinator; and Linda Maxwell, Connections Memory Café Coordinator for taking time out of their day to share their knowledge and experience with our students!

HHS Career Technical Education students in the Freshman Healthcare Occupations class attended a field trip to the Public Health Museum at Tewksbury State Hospital. Students toured the grounds and learned the history of the State Hospital and its varied uses since inception in 1854.  Students also toured the museum on the grounds and learned about the history of Public Health, Care of individuals with Tuberculosis including an iron lung and its use; and exhibits about the history of the nursing school; Mental Illness and treatment, medications and the AIDs Epidemic.  Volunteer staff and the Museum curator shared much information with the students who were very interested and asked appropriate questions. The staff was warm and welcoming to our future healthcare workers!

On Tuesday, May 27th, over 30 professionals attended the Annual CTE Biomedical Science Career Fair organized by Biomed teacher Mary Johnston. Students participated in a variety of activities in the healthcare and biomedical science fields, including biomedical engineering and prosthetics, vital signs, CPR, angioplasty, stents, and catheters, robotics, computer science, mammalian research, veterinary medicine, wildlife ecology, birthing doula, brain degenerative disease research, protein structure research, electrochemistry, nursing jeopardy, forensic chemistry, forensic fingerprinting, female biology ambassadorship, marine mammal conservation, microbiology and use of a dissecting microscope, blood gas chemistry, lab technicians, and so much more. Students and teachers alike really enjoyed snuggling the 3 day old kittens, all of whom have been adopted! Students who participated received some cool prizes and some students won t-shirts in a free raffle. Students and professionals thoroughly enjoyed interacting and it was a great time for all. We are so grateful to the numerous professionals who take the time to support important events like these for our students. We can’t thank you enough!
