2025-2026 – BUS Schedule and HHS Late Bus Schedule

Do you live too close to qualify for a school bus (within 2 miles), consider taking the free MEVA! Routes 15 and 16 will get you to school on time. They stop where you are along the route (as long as it’s safe to do so), and drop you off on Monument Street in front of the school! No more excuses, take the public transport! They are also going to stop at the end of the day and wait until 2:15 to depart, to give the kids time to get to their bus.

  • Do you attend an afterschool club or sport? Are you staying after school for extra help? Please join us after your activity in the cafeteria for a free hot meal from 2:30pm till 3:30pm. Your late bus pass will give you entrance. Don’t go home hungry.

COUNSELING DEPARTMENT

It is course selection time! Students should communicate with their teachers if there are electives in a specific department they are interested in taking. Once teachers have made all recommendations in our system by January 23rd, school counselors will begin meeting with students from January 27th- February 13th to ensure all graduation requirements are satisfied and change these recommendations into course selections. Here are the links to the course selection guide for students in Grade 9 moving to Grade 10.

School counselors may meet with students again in April-May to review any potential conflicts within student schedules and make adjustments so we do not have a rush to schedule in August/September. There is no guarantee that your student will get into any class after the start of the school year. Schedules are not released until late in August.
Selecting what you want to take now, is key to ensuring you get an appropriate schedule for next year, which in turn limits unnecessary disruptions to student schedules in the fall.
