The Classical Academy

The Classical Academy is a rigorous honors program within Haverhill High School that engages students in a challenging curriculum intended to broaden and deepen their knowledge of the audio, visual, language arts, and the sciences. Students can choose their content concentration within the program. To apply, you must submit an application, and sit for an interview, much like the college application process. This program is intended to gather a diverse group of intellectually curious students and support them in an engaging and challenging curriculum. Thus, making them most prepared for the next phase of their academic journey.

    1. Four years of English, 1 AP (Literature or Language)
    2. Three years of Mathematics
    3. Three years of Latin
    4. Three Years of Science
    5. Three years of History, 1 AP
    6. Enrollment in and completion of “A Classical Perspective” and “Capstone Seminar” or capstone equivalent.
    7. Four total AP Classes
    8. Physical Education/Health
