Wednesday October 16, 2019- PSAT/NMSQT
Location: Haverhill High School- 7:30am
The PSAT/NMSQT is the first step towards reaching college goals.  It measures the reading, mathematics, and writing skills that students need for college.  All students in grade 10 will be automatically registered to take this exam.  For students in grade 11 participation is not mandatory, but it is strongly encouraged.  After taking this test, students will receive important feedback on academic strengths and weaknesses as well as an individualized study plan on how to improve.  Additionally, juniors will be entered into national scholarship competitions as a result of participation.  Juniors can sign up to take the PSAT in the HHS School Counseling Office.  Space is limited for juniors and so we encourage students to sign up as soon as possible!  New for 2019, we are thrilled that there is NO COST to take this exam! The priority deadline for juniors to register for the PSAT is September 18th.  Any juniors who have approved College Board testing accommodations and who plan to take the PSAT must sign up by the priority deadline to ensure that proper testing materials are ordered.  The final deadline for juniors to sign up for the PSAT will be October 2nd.
