Term 4 Report Cards in Portal
Term 4 Report cards will be visible in the Parent/Student Portal by Friday, June 29 at 3:00 pm. If you need a hard copy of the report card please contact either Eileen Spero- firstname.lastname@example.org or Sandra McArthur @ email@example.com or call the HHS main office at 978-374-5700 xt: 1101 or 1102. Please give your student’s name, the student’s DOB, and provide your name. I have also provided the directions to access the parent/student portal to below.
Freshman Orientation Class of 2022
HHS is hosting Freshman Orientation on Wednesday, August 22 @ 6:00 pm in the HHS Gymnasium. Tours of the building will also occur that night. Selected staff will be available to share information on “In Plain Sight” and “Vaping and e-Cigarettes”. Incoming freshman will be asked to complete a survey on Social Emotional Learning topics. HHS Summer School
HHS Summer Credit Recovery program begins on July 9, 2018 and run through August 9, 2018. Classes will be held from 8:00 AM-11:30 AM. Registration is being held from now though July 9th. HHS Summer Reading Lists
Please see links for grade level lists. It is expected that students will read at least 2 books over the summer break.School Counseling Update2018-2019 SchedulesTentative schedules will be mailed home to students by the middle of August 2018. Included in the mailing will be a memo reviewing the process for requesting schedule changes, if needed. Only requests that meet the stated criteria will be considered for review. Final schedules will be available closer to the end of the summer.Senior Summer Boot CampThe School Counseling Office is once again offering Senior Summer Boot Camp sessions to all students who are entering their senior year at HHS. These sessions will help prepare students for the college application and admissions process. Sessions are limited to 20 students and are scheduled on a first come, first serve basis. Students can sign up through the Google form at https://goo.gl/forms/DRRM4jVOvbncan6i1. Students may also call the guidance office at 978-374-5700 ext. 1134 and sign up with the guidance secretary. When you are added to a session you will be notified by email.At Boot Camp students will create a Common App account, learn the ins and outs of Naviance, review college essay prompts, begin their senior resume and familiarize themselves with scholarship opportunities. Students will also have the opportunity to work with an English teacher and a college admissions representative to help them further prepare their applications.We highly encourage students to take advantage of this opportunity. Boot camps will be offered August 9th, 13th & 16th from 9:oo am-1:00 pm.
