Principal’s Weekly Update- June 1, 2018
Graduation – Class of 2018
Tonight we will see 393 seniors graduate at Trinity Stadium. I look forward to sharing many statistics about this class in our next weekly update. I wish everyone safe travels in and out of the stadium and look forward to a wonderful event. In all probability, graduation will happen tonight. If there is a need to postpone due to rain, there will be a decision made by 5:15 pm. We suggest that grads and families and friends bring an umbrella or a raincoat just in case.
The Biology MCAS will be given on Wednesday, June 6th and be completed Thursday, June 7th. All students in grade 9-10 will be taking this assessment on these two days. Please make sure your student is on time and well rested. Students have been given their room assignments this week and should report to their assigned location promptly at 7:25 a.m. If they are not sure where to go there are signs throughout the building or they can go to any office and find assistance with this.
On Tuesday, June 5th Haverhill High School will be hosting an informational meeting for parents in our Family Resource Center located near the library on E-Cigarette use among youth and young adults. This session will begin at 6:00 p.m. and we hope that parents from our community will participate in the discussion centered around e-cigarette

No Meeting: AP Statistics will not have a meeting but students must check in with Mrs. Giampa in room C-17 to pick up summer work and provide email address.

HHS VIP TEAM
In response to the recent violence in Haverhill many local community groups including HHS VIP team and new to Haverhill Utec (United Teen Equality Center) will be collaborating with many others to put together aCommunity Response to Violence and gathering at GAR park on Tuesday June 5th from 6pm-7pm there will be community speakers talking about how violence has affected them and the community. Then from 7pm-8pm we will be walking from GAR park to HC Media where there will be a presentation from Utec then short breakout groups to have further discussion on next steps. All voices are needed specially the voices of our youth. Please join us in this community effort to curve violence in Haverhill, Peace !!
