Haverhill High School
Haverhill High School – Weekly Update 11.16.18
Mayor’s Excellence in Education Award
We thank Mayor James Fiorentini, Mrs. Margaret Marotta, Superintendent of Schools and Attorney Richard Rosa, School Committeeman for spending some time with us Wednesday morning during our MCAS Pep Rally. Mayor Fiorentini presented the staff and students with the Mayor’s Excellence in Education Award for the outstanding achievement in increasing the MCAS scores in the 2018 school year.
Haverhill High School Cheerleaders
Congratulations to our Varsity Cheerleaders! They are the Division 1 North Regional Champions! We are so grateful for the difference they make on our sidelines, at our Pep Rally’s, and in the energy and spirit they carry with them each and every day! Congratulations and thank you all!
Student Drop Off
We are concerned at the number of parents parking in the student drop off lane during the morning rush. Please pull up as much as you can and have your child depart safely but in a timely fashion so not to delay others behind your vehicle. Thanking you in advance for your cooperation on this important matter.
We also have great concerns over parents and guardians who drive in the fire lanes around the building. These are not to be used and we ask that while driving on campus you do not exceed 10 m.p.h. Thank you in advance for your cooperation on this important matter.
The Good Doctor
The Haverhill High School Drama Club and Fine Arts Academy are proud to present Neil Simon’s ‘The Good Doctor’ with two final performances on Saturday November 17th at 2:00 & 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students/seniors, $10 for general admission, and seating is limited!
